the thanksgiving break was coming; i originally planned to Detroit and then pass the border to Toronto in Canda. However, for some personal reason I changed my mind to drive to Chicago. I have been to Chicago several times, but most of that were transferring flights, this time was the third time to travel in Chicago city.
on last monday morning everthing was prepred; we went to the way to chicago. on the way i was hoped there had a good weather in chicago for travelling. But unfortunately it was rain for three days. after 4 hours we came into the first stop the Aurora outlet, because we would came back to Ames on Thursday, the thanksgiving day, the outlet would close until the midnight. moreover, we have divided into three groups for different purposes which was we have different things to buy. I went to the DF&CCO shop straightly, I had to bought the Estee Lauder face care for my mother. After two hours, the day was getting dark and dark, and we finished shopping in Aurora, ten we continued our way to the China Town in Chicago for dinner.
furthermore, we came to a hotpot restaurant, even though we had a great and ate very full in this dinner, most of us had a drarreha in the evening and the next day. maybe the food was not fresh or we ate too spicy or too much. on the second day in chicago, we went to the Michigan Avenue for shopping. after shooping in the whole afternoon, we found we still have many shops did not come into. Thus, we decided we would not come to the outlet instead of continue shopping in Michigan Avenue.
to summary, this time in Chicago I found a rule which is in the four days, we never left the Michigan Avenue except for have dinner in China Town. after the shops closed we came back to the hotel and then came again the next day till the day we leaving we were in Michigan Avenue.

my favourite movie
Braveheart is my favourite movie which is a fantasy file produced and directed by Mel Gibson. When I first watched Braveheart, I did not understand what the movie talked about, I just saw people fightted in the wars, and finally the leader was been behead, them file was almost end. At the beginning I like it because the music were very nice, the Scottish bagpipe.
After watching the film three times, I gradually knew the meanning of the movie. The King of England in order to let more noblemen to Scotland, gave them the right of first nignt, which was when the Scotland people get married, the noblemen had the rights to get the bride's first night. However, the hero William Wallace, in order to protected his girl killed some England soliders and broken away, but the England Soliders killed his girl. After that, he became the leader to againted the cruel dominate of the King of England. Even though he deeply belived the lord of Scotland, the lord betraied him. William got caught. The king of England judged him death penalty. Then this chapter is my favourite. The William's spirit effectted me, when he lied on the guillotine, the magistrate offers him a quick death in exchange for a plea for mercy. But he hold his lover's handkerchief, he missed her, and he using the last strength in his body, he cries, Freedom... All people cried.

the bad Friday
On last thurday night when I reading my Accounting book, I felt the prick with my right eye, there were something block my eye ball, and when I blinking I felt hurt especially feared of sunshine and wind. As long I came outside, the tears fell down. At first, I did not realize I was sick, I saw my eyeball was red, and I thought it must be lack of sleep. Meanwhile, I was confused if I was lack of sleep, why there have just one eye was red, and the left eye was normal. I came to the ISU health center, after half an hour wait, the doctor came to check my eyeball. First, the doctor drop the eyedrop in my eyeball which for the test, then distinguish the color under the special light, after that, I found something was wrong. As what I thought, the doctor told me, my eye was infected. And I have to came to the eyes specializing hospital.
In addition, I came home for search the eyes specializing hospital on the Internet, then came to the McFarland, after the doctor checked my eye, I felt easy, I did not need to have pills or inject. And the doctor asked me to buy a eyedrop, and 4 times a day then gave the eyes some massage. Perhaps I would be better in two weeks, and come to recheck after one week.

VOLLEYBALL: Cyclones remain undefeated at Hilton with win over Texas A&M

The daily was report the women volleyball match between ISU and Texas A&M. And it was the first win voer a ranked opponent season. Moreover, the writer try to derscibe the situations about the match to the readers who were not in the gym to watch the game. the report like a note some big times of the match, like the No.13 Cyclones defeated the No.22 Aggies in straight sets. On the other hand, the writer put somes dialogues between the players and the coach, also the people's comments. For example, the Peterson said, I knew someone had to put it away so I just went for it.
I thought the wrieter did a good job to describe the conditions during the game palying. I could feel the how the game playing, the atmosphere, and how greate the players did. Though read the report I feel a was sitting in the gym to watch the game. This maybe the most important thing for the readers to know what happend and the process of the game. From the dialogues, I can found that all of the players and coaches were nervous and try their best to win. especially, the slogan: it's time for a win. i think our team is ready. show us the confidence and passion.

What you like most about America culture?
As a Chinese people the most important culture and tradition is “tea”. In the daily life people cannot leave without tea, you can find the tea house everywhere just like Starbucks on each street in the United State of America. However, for me I prefer coffee, and the coffee culture in America is my favourite.
Coffee in America just likes the game without the rules, every people like that; additionally, the Americans are living in a fast-paced environment, they do not have enough time to seat on the street or in the cafeteria to drink a coffee; in the contrary, the Europeans pay particular attention to the step of how the coffee is made. Thus, the America coffee culture has been bring out, in other words the culture is the fast coffee culture. Furthermore, in the morning you can stop by the Starbucks or Donkin Dunuts to buy a cup of coffee on the way you come to work or school then begin the new day.
Moreover, I was feeling good when I was watching some games in the gym. Especially, people always buy one piece of hotdog and a cup of beer to waving and cheer for their teams. Even though, I do not like hotdog I feel good. Sometimes, I would think its very funny, can you imagine that people bite the hotdog before they whoop for their team. But this is true, I do not what do you think about it but I can feel the passion. Meanwhile, people like to support the matches. On the other hand, they will buy the tickets and when the match time people would put off the thing on their hand and asked some friends to watch the games, unlike the domestic league in China, even free tickets nobody would come to watch.
What is more, the education operations in the USA I love it, because I can study knowledge in there. In the university I not only have a high degree of freedom, but also there are many things limit my behaviors. For example, if I want to get a A in one course, I have to attend the class, try my best to finish the homework, review the class the content, and have a high grades on the test. Therefore, I really study the knowledge on the course which I take. Otherwise, you did not go to class or you did not do the homework both of these it is ok, as long as you take the final test, you would get a high grade in Chinese university.
